Whatever the Lord requires of us as His Church is built on the foundation of Christ who is prophetically revealed as the “Son of the Living God”. This is a promise established from within the Old Testament and is central to the message of Isaiah. Meditate on it until you grasp it. Because of God’s covenant commitment to Israel, and in spite of their disobedience and waywardness as a people, the Father introduced His Son, who would become the Messenger and Means of redemption. He is the Seed of Israel through Whom the Messiah to the whole world is
sent.

Hopefully in our meditational journey this month we as the “Ekklesia” of Christ will appreciate that we are the new expression of God’s Holy Kingdom people who would become the redeemers of Israel having been birthed out of her through the “Son of the Living God”. Together as God’s Saints we will vindicate the covenant promise to Israel and to the whole world.

This meditational exercise is for your own personal self-assessment, self-effacement, self-affirmation, self-determination, and Kingdom application. As you meditate on the Word, seek to apply it personally and practically to your daily life and to your vocational pursuits and ministerial witness.
