Remember that we are into a year of God’s favor.

It is for us a year of double increase.

This Month is also. a time for the special release of God’s anointing upon all who draw unto Him in earnest and in devotional obedience. But we must bear in mind that the favor of God dispensed upon His children come at a cost. It is a cost which also is borne by Christ Himself for us. “The chastisement of our peace was placed upon Him, and by His stripes we have been healed.”

The testimonies of Daniel and Isaiah remind us of how the people in almost every nation across the globe are disenchanted with their governments within their own nation-state. But God tests us and proves us so we can become His Kingdom representatives within our nation and among our people.

This entire month will present the challenges faced by God’s people to test them and to prove their resilience and faithfulness to the Lord. It prepares us to appreciate the rejection and suffering experienced by Jesus in paying the price for the redemption of all men. This also challenges us to give our lives for the redemption and freedom of our people.
