“This is your season”…have you ever heard that before?
I know I have…SO many times.
There was great truth to it, but also it was great revelation as the realization that the season I was in was a PLOWING and PLANTING season, which is HARD work.
Don’t get me wrong, harvesting is hard work as well, but it takes a person knowing what season they are in to properly set expectations on the end result of the days work.
This season is a plowing and planting…which means its time to stretch out of comfort zones, leave old relationships that aren’t producing, rid yourself of old habits that hold you back, and embrace the newness God has called you to.
As a pioneer you MUST understand that the road you are on is NOT A ROAD AT ALL…You are actually MAKING the road as you feverishly cut down the brush and jungle in front of you with your dulling machete.
I know it gets tempting as you see the people on your right and left seemingly enjoying their freshly paved road with their hair blowing in the wind as you wipe the sweat from your brow. But they are enjoying roads that were made for them by a someone who is just like you, A PIONEER. So STAY FOCUSED ON YOUR PATH!
It gets tough, but don’t quit…You’ll get tired, but don’t quit…you’ll get a little frustrated, but don’t quit!
The Bible tells us in Galatians 6:9 (NLT)
“So let’s not get tired of doing what is good. At just the right time we will reap a harvest of blessing if we don’t give up.”
Your season of Harvesting is right through this brush… there is a road that you are building that will bless others who will follow in your footsteps…
So my fellow pioneer….Sharpen and keep swinging that machete of faith and the word to and cut down the rough of circumstances, build the road of hope that God has called you to build, and be a blessing to everyone you have carved the path for!
